Personal Training in a Private Studio
One-on-one and semi-private coaching in our private home studio in North Austin, booked to one person or one small group at a time. No membership and no waiting for a rack. The same two coaches who have run Outright since 2009.
Already train with us? Book your next session, no need to read any further.
How This Works
Three steps, and the first one takes about two minutes.
Step 1
Tell Us What You Want
Your goal, your training history, anything that hurts, and when you can train.
Step 2
We Recommend a Starting Point
A coach replies within 1-2 business days with the format that fits, one-on-one or semi-private — and what a first session would look like. If a group or remote coaching would serve you better, we will say so.
Step 3
Book and Train
Choose your sessions and pick your times.
What We Offer
One-on-one and semi-private both run in our private studio and are booked from the same schedule. Each format has its own times, so pick the one you want and the available slots for it will show. New here? A single one-on-one drop-in makes a good fitness or athletic performance assessment, and is a low-commitment way to see what training looks like before choosing a plan.
One-on-one
Private Coaching
One-on-one coaching with the space and attention to focus entirely on your training. This is the best option if you have a specific goal, an injury history, or a schedule that requires flexibility. Adults and younger athletes alike, parents of minors are always welcome to stay for the session.
- Parents of minors welcome
- Assessments best done 1:1
Two or three
Semi-Private
Choose an available semi-private slot. Come on your own or add a spouse, a friend, a training partner. Either way it is capped at three, everyone is on their own program, and every rep still gets seen. Lower cost per person, and the accountability of showing up together.
- Maximum 3 people
- Book available slot
What you get
A Coach’s Full Attention
Programming written for you, adjusted as you go, and coached throughout the session, which is the entire difference between training and just working out. Even in a semi-private, you’re not following a class, you’re getting coached.
Where You’ll Train
Our studio is a private, purpose-built training space in North Austin: a strength room with racks, bars, dumbbells and everything a serious session needs, plus a climate-controlled room for conditioning, mobility, and assessment work. A deliberately focused space, never more than three people in it, by appointment only.
We’ll say plainly what it is, because we would rather you know before you book than be surprised at the door: this is a converted garage and office at our home, not a commercial gym. If what you want is a big floor, a locker room, and a membership card, this isn’t for you. If what you want is a coach, quality equipment, and an hour where nothing competes for attention, this is exactly where you should be. We ran our own gym space for eight plus years, we know the difference.
Parking is on the street directly outside. You will get the exact address and arrival instructions once your first session is booked.
Would rather we came to you? Training at your location is priced by session length, with travel added at checkout based on your address.
What Clients Say
Book a One on One Assessment
A single drop-in is the easiest way in, use it as a fitness or athletic performance assessment. We test where you are, talk through your goals, and you leave with a clear picture of what training would look like. Buy the single session, and after checkout you are taken straight to the scheduler to pick your time, in our private studio.

Pay What You Can
Studio training carries a regular rate and a minimum. You choose any amount at or above the minimum when you book, and nobody is ever asked to explain the number they picked.
We have run our group training this way for years, and we are extending it to one-on-one and semi-private in the studio. The reason is simple: we would rather coach you at a rate that works than have you priced out of coaching altogether. Pay the regular rate if you can — it is what the work is worth and it is what keeps us doing this. Pay the minimum if that is what this stretch allows. Pay above it if you want to make room for someone who cannot.
Nothing about the session changes based on what you pay. Same coach, same programming, same hour, same attention. We do not know what you chose while we are coaching you and we would not train you differently if we did.
This applies to studio sessions only. Training at your location, private pods, team training and performance testing are quoted at fixed rates, because travel and headcount decide what those actually cost us.

Nutrition Comes With It
Every personal training client gets nutrition guidance and accountability included — not as an upsell, and not as a handout you never open. Training is the easy half; what happens the other twenty-three hours is where results are actually won or lost.
What you get
Guidance Built Around Your Life
We start with what you are actually eating, not a template. From there: practical targets, food you will really buy, and adjustments as your training changes. No meal plans you abandon in a week, no supplements to purchase from us, no eliminating whole food groups because it sounds disciplined.
How accountability works
A Weekly Check-In, Not a Group Chat
One structured check-in each week and a longer review once a month, through a single channel so nothing gets lost. You will hear back within one business day. It is deliberately bounded — consistent contact you can rely on beats round-the-clock messaging that burns out on both sides by week three.
- Weekly check-in
- Monthly review
- One business day response
Where the line is
Coaching, Not Clinical Care
We provide general nutrition guidance for healthy people. We are not dietitians and we do not provide medical nutrition therapy, diagnose anything, or advise around medication or a diagnosed condition. If your situation calls for that, we will say so and refer you to a registered dietitian we trust rather than guess.
For Athletes Under 18
Young athletes train with us in the studio, outdoors, or at their own team’s facility, and parents of minors are always welcome to stay for the session. Where nutrition comes up with an athlete under 18, it is about fueling performance and nothing else. We talk about eating enough to train hard, what to eat before a session and after one, hydration in Texas heat, and why an athlete runs out of energy in the third quarter. That is the whole scope.
Youth & Teen Groups
For most athletes, outdoor small-group training gives more coaching for less money, and the first group session is free.
Get Started
Tell us your goal, who is training, and when you can train. A coach replies within one business day with the format that fits and what a first session looks like — including when the honest answer is a group or remote coaching instead.
