FAQ

How many times per week should I workout with Outright?

Good question!  The answer will vary from person to person. To best answer your question, we suggest scheduling an appointment with us either face to face or over the phone to determine what will work best for your level and goals.

Here are some general guidelines to get you started:

  1. If you’re a beginner with a weight loss goal, we recommend committing to a 4-5 day per week routine with 30-60 min workouts.
  2. If you’re somewhat active already; maybe you run or do a boot camp class here and there, then 2-3 days per week of real strength training may be all you need.
  3. If you’re an athlete in-season, we suggest a “maintenance” schedule of 1-2 workouts per week. Off-season training will be a different schedule of 2-4 workouts a week.

Contact us! If we can’t help, we’ll at least point you in the right direction.

Do you have experience rehabbing ACL tears?

Yes. We have helped several athletes return to their sport, stronger, faster, and equally as important…confident.

We work closely with your physical therapist and/or your physician to follow any restrictions, and rate of progression they have outlined for your recovery.

We also have experience with Achilles injuries, rotator cuff, hamstring tears, and QL/Psoas strains/tightness.

What is Semi-Private Personal Training?

Semi- Private Personal training is where your trainer is working with you and 2-3 other individuals at the same time. Each person will have their own individualized program that they are following. Just like one on one personal training, you have regular assessments, your own individualized program and workouts specific to your goals and rate of progression, and scheduling flexibility based on our coach’s availability. Workout duration options range from 45mins to 90mins.

Our Semi-Private Personal Training IS NOT a group/boot camp or a one size fits all workout. Group/boot camps are designed to give every individual the same workout, without regard to your individual goal, skill or rate of progression. This makes is difficult to give you the one on one personalized attention you need to make corrections or modifications to movements. We choose to make each training session customized with personalized attention to ensure you are safely completing movements and maximizing results from each session.

Do you work with youth athletes?

Yes! We work with youth athletes as young as 5 years of age. Our 45-min Youth One-on-One Personal Training option is the best of option for youth athletes 13 years of age and younger.

During these sessions, we focus on coordination, balance, body awareness, body weight movements and most importantly having fun!

How soon can I see results?

The answer to this question depends on several factors. It depends on your baseline fitness, how hard and how frequently you exercise, your nutrition and having realistic goals. We, as coaches, will give you the tools and knowledge that you’ll need for success but it’s ultimately up to you to show up, work hard, be consistent and keep track of all your nutrition. We can’t want it more than you.
