Testing is cheaper, and better, in a group
A handful of families, a training group, a homeschool co-op, a few teammates who train together, bring them all to one session and every athlete pays a fraction of what an individual assessment costs.
It’s also a better session. Athletes push harder against a stopwatch when someone they know is standing next to it, and comparing numbers within a group turns an abstract score into something they actually care about.
Every athlete gets their own everything
This isn’t a watered-down group screen. Each athlete is tested individually, to the same protocol as a one-to-one assessment:
- Laser-timed acceleration and top speed, sprint splits to a hundredth of a second, not a thumb on a stopwatch
- Vertical jump, reactive power and leg-to-leg symmetry
- Portable strength and force measures suited to age and training age
- Slow-motion video of their sprint mechanics and jump technique
- Their own written report, with a ranked short list of what to work on
Where it happens
At our testing location, you bring the athletes to us. That’s what keeps the price down: no travel, no setup fee, no mileage buried in the total. The exact meeting point and what to expect come with your booking confirmation.
If it’s easier for us to come to you instead, that’s a different product, see Athletic Testing at Your Location.
Homeschool co-ops
Dated, measured performance testing twice a year is physical-education documentation that stands up, objective numbers and a written report per athlete, for far less per family than testing individually. It’s considerably harder to document “we went outside.”
Practical
- Ages 12 and up.
- Every athlete under 18 needs a parent or guardian signature on the waiver before we start, the link comes with your booking confirmation.
- Normal training kit and running shoes; bring cleats if you play on grass.
- Athletes should come hydrated, and not straight off a hard session, we’re measuring their best, not their most tired.
- Date and time are agreed with you after booking, so the whole group can make it.
Seven or more athletes? That’s a team screening, get in touch for a quote, which works out considerably cheaper per athlete.
